    Manual Level Reversion

Those characters are there to allow me access. Not to run daily. My point is, we shouldn't have unusable dungeon runs on a character, if I want to run 120, have a method for allowing my character in. Creating alt's shouldn't be an answer, be it dungeons, or gold farming. The goal here is to reduce number of alt's, and improve each characters flexibility. I don't want to switch chars every time I need something. I would like my main to be flexible enough to accommodate 95% of what I want to do. If I want to level an Arcanist to 175, I should be able to do that at my choice and pace, with maintaining access to lower level farms, like Trasia and dungeons. It's basically like going to school and work, your making progress on both fronts simultaneously. And allowing me to cap my level, means I'm not using unfair advantages, like 175 or higher stats in 150 areas. Build a main, an Arca farmer and grind. That's a very rigid play style, this would allow flexibility and add options for people to choose. Like if I'm leveling a new character, and I want to farm it's 135 gear, I'm sure your answer would be 10 minutes on arca farm and buy the stuff. I don't use penya, to buy my way up. I just hate using a dozen chars for specific farms, instead of buying a 135 scroll, just like a Stat reset scroll, and just using the main.

    Penya farm Party skill

So I made characters specifically for those dungeons to farm as needed for gear. I didn't stop anything, they are just alt's sitting on like a 9th dummy account, cuz you can't enter with a char 175, if and when I want to level a new char. Also, I made a 120 1 shot farmer, 20p/h is the rate. Using Flash Charm, Scroll of Velocity and having more than 350% movement speed. I find 30p/h to be an exaggeration. A guild mate made a 150 1 shot. That's 45p/h. Using over 375% movement speed. This all makes sense. In a linear game, 20p, slightly more than doubles for 44-45p. These were balanced areas, established before the level cap patch. So, Dark Trasia could be utilized the same, if it's drops were increased by 300-400k over Trasia, 1.2-.13Mil. Slower kills, but more value. So, unless you can show me a video of 60p/hr. I'm going to assume these numbers are outdated, exaggerated, or involve some other trick than gear and farm route. So first off, access to the guilds information alone, is substantial. If it wasn't the wiki wouldn't even be needed. Further. I've made a 175, it just needs better cards. I also made 3 +20 150's. What's holding me back is the huge amount of misinformation out there, the lack of useful information. The lack of penya, basically if your not willing to pump out 250-700p for cards, buff pet, maybe even more for wings, you can't make a 175 usable character. Second, the devil is in the details. If you look deeply we should see why your vague examples, do not match my in game experiences. And the likely source, is playtime, number of characters focused on, proper information for the fastest available methods, routes, and correct builds. Also the method dungeons are run, did he run them in a group, thus reducing his time involved? Also, all my characters were leveled before the new temp items were added, so I had substantial slower leveling/farming for having no buff pet and no cloak. Also, having a guild, allows him to find things he needs quicker, like, buying up A cards. Obviously this skill isn't going to happen. The admin spoke. Though I find your basic philosophy, make a 1-shot Arca and shut up, it's good enough, to be a really non-creative method. You seem to have a very limited view of the game. As Saurus said, having friends helps. Since I play solo, and want to play solo, my ability in the game stops at 150 it seems. Saurus, I would like to point out it was number 1, then fell. There's a reason. Votes have been driving the server back up, but my question is, for how long? God knows I have like 500 vote points. But I am severely underwhelmed by many aspects of the game. I HAVE to join a guild, or stop at 150, like you said. I HAVE to farm 500p+ outside dungeons and leveling, or stagnate. I appreciate the sentiment, but I think this thread basically points out, "Active" means penya farming, because the rest is just a gravy walk. And to be clear, I'm not looking for a max 175 char, I'm looking for a character to be viable at 175, with +20 gear, B cards, and a buff pet. Because that, doesn't require more than 300p, which can be obtained through normal dungeon runs for 150 mats, leveling, and minimal penya farming.

    Giant Farming Dungeon

Trasia? Penya Farming. So no, when the game gives greater rewards, or positive aspects to remaining 120, 135, or 150. In essence, it's forced. It's like saying, your free to take this job at $8/hr or you can stay here for $15/h. (Obviously life isn't that simple with more variables in play) Have you met Pavlov lol Classical conditioning and positive reinforcement of specific behaviors. In my opinion, the game should always be a linear scale. (See Pic 2 Below) The max you can do at 120, should slowly increase up the levels, until max 120, is base 135, or 150. So, if you can make 60p/h in Trasia, you should be able to do that in Dark Trasia, but once you get 175 gear, you should make more. A wave function more accurately describes the game right now, where stepping out of specific ranges, drops your ability drastically. If the upcoming changes do what you say they will, it's a step forward. This was one possible way to change things, however if tweaking the WB's works, then so be it. It is possible to do both. I really enjoy instance farming, where I don't need groups, or gotta wait 12 hours for a WB. (Imagine if you could only get SoB's in a random 8 hour window, keep in mind, you need less SoB's than orbs) I'll be by to fix the cable between 6am and 4pm type deal. So even if they revamp WB's, a dungeon has its good qualities.

    Manual Level Reversion

I have characters built to farm 120, 135, and 150. While I have a +20 150 gear 170, chilling with 6 Entree's into Ankou's, 6 into Kalgas. It seems a terrible waste to keep building chars, making alt accounts, when we are not utilizing the characters we have. It doesn't need to be fancy. I go to Ankou, and select 150+ on entering. Cap my stats at 1k or 900. And then I can run it. Cap my atk, or max dmg, to a 150 level. Just add a "debuff" trait upon entering. -25% stats, or -50% monster damage. Whatever is easiest to do. There are others, with a decent amount of support, wanting dungeon difficulty levels. This seems like it'd be easy enough to add to those changes. Debuff I wouldn't think would require all that much, since some already exist.
  5. Thank you for taking the time to put those calculations in. That post is literally 100% more useful than the wiki. Need a dozen more wiki pages with that type of content.

Yeah np! I'm pretty sure Vanitas/Petrua is making a Super Guide about how to start Krona as a new player. We don't want new players to quit and understand its overwhelming at first. Once you do get closer to endgame you'll see that it actually isn't that hard as it seems. I could farm like 1k perin a week, but I'm a hard core casual player. As in, I login to talk with friends and do my daily dungeon runs and then thats about it. I farm like an hour a day when I need to but I don't have that much time. So you can be successful in Krona without putting in a ton of hours. The major hurdle is getting that buffpet early on because it helps you immensely. Kinda sad it's behind Dpoints right now but I don't see that changing. Do you need help gearing up? I can seriously help you out without a problem. All my posts to that thread are just explaining that its not impossible, but its just a hurdle to end game. I'm not trying to be mean or condescending at all. :D

I find your posts to be accurate, well thought, and with a spark of optimism. I fully understand it's not impossible. I made a +20 Ranger 1st to run 150's. Used it to gear a +20 Arca, a +15 RM, and +10 Slayer. My point has been, there's too much rigid reliance on mass penya farming to buy your way to 175, instead of dungeon crawling your way up. Grinding is a poor excuse for creative methods of progress. +20 gear is cake, but without 14 A cards, it's near worthless the moment you step past 150. I can't express how disappointing it is, that the best farms are 150, because when only 1 person can farm Dark Trasia.. That's the same thing as making it useless. I am unbelievably frustrated there is no middle ground. Either you have X-Y-Z items, or you leveled a useless 175.. Stop, go back to 150 to farm more penya, make a new char just so you can farm 175.. Middle ground. There's no guide explaining the useful jobs worth moving to 175. There's no guide explaining Dark Trasia is not viable in +20 150 gear. There's no guide on minimum requirements for dungeons, only you should probably have maxed everything. It does require hours, lots, but spreading them out is one method to make it less draining. The simple fact, I moved an Arca past 150 without knowing its worthless without A cards, and there's no other viable way or place to farm Penya. Took me from active 5-8 hours a day, to 10 minutes a day.

    Penya farm Party skill

This was kind of my point. Those who already have assets don't get it. You borrowed established character to cut your time and grind. And by all means you can manage to balance time. I didn't say you can't nor that I can't. I said it costs time, of your life, your never getting back. The faster the farm, the less you waste. I used an example from discord. Further, yes, all games have grinds, however, don't forget eFlyff's major loss of players comes from it's grind. Now, for inflation, no. The prices are fixed, because you have several methods of getting them. And just because you have 10,000 Perin, Baruna protects still cost the same, and when your saturated with Penya, selling items for 700p, isn't going to go up to 2,000p just because there is more penya. In real life, money buys many things, and as inventory prices rise, so do selling costs, making your dollar worth less tomorrow than today (Inflation). In fly. All you ever need has a fixed price, the dungeon runs cost the same amount of time/effort/items, more penya doesn't change that. So all it really does, is make penya worthless, removing yet another thing standing in the way of game-play. I can actually give an example. Diablo 3, gold is worthless because everyone has 10 Billion, so you buy what you need and move on. It lowers the biggest time sink fly has by half. 120p/h (At a maxed out farmers rate). Means a buff pet in 2 hours. Well there is no way to buy keys with penya. So someone still has to go pay money for DP. Krona itself still makes the same money, it just means the ease of access to that kind of funds for ALL players increases. Saurus does have a point tho, DP only comes from player sellers, however. Classic economic model shows the price someone is willing to pay for an item, has a limit. At some point, you can't sell 100/100 because I can just buy DP at that point. Further, If you have 10,000 Perin, what do you need an extra 20p for, the return on investment isn't there. So I could see less DP being sold as the market would crash above "X" price. But farming 60p/h becomes viable with other classes, this is important. So I guess, you would have to decide, if having 2-5 DP sellers, is worth keeping the market as is. The need for buff pets doesn't change, so either people buy their own DP, or the market would have to self regulate to what people are willing to pay for a service. I did say I was ready to quit, because the game has diminished returns past 150. Yeah the exp is fast and easy. Also if you have access to established characters, your grind is less than half a new players. Stop using maxed out farming rates when describing a fresh account, its exaggerated. (Some may see this type of success within X amount of time). There are less geared 175's than 150's, yes? even among the long time players, because the level of access to 175 farms is considerably higher. That's a fundamental failure in game dynamics to push people to 175 for endgame. As you have pointed out, 150 in a day is cake, even +20 if you have access to prior funds. If you use that as a base, and claim 175 in a week is ludicrous, then the 150-175 is at least 7x harder and more time consuming. So, I'm perfectly happy accepting that 150 is endgame and leaving.

So your implying if I'm not willing to put in the time, I shouldn't play, instead of suggesting the system can be improved to facilitate more methods of play style and character choice? That's a great attitude to attract new players. 1 hour a day for 2 weeks, seems like a chore, not a game. Exactly who does this skill hurt? Why did an admin come all the way down here to try and say this isn't needed, instead of allowing the community to decide what it wants? Though it seems like all the long term players are not in favor of change. Oh, I'm hoping this 1v1 dungeon is as great as everyone seems to think it is. Because after a month, I've pretty much quit. The path to 175 gear, is just stupid long, so there's zero interest in continuing..

    Giant Farming Dungeon

Then add 150-175 Giants, so you can actually hunt them. Yet again, we are shown a flaw Krona has, it likes to make things level specific, forcing people to play under max level. I've seen time and time again, world bosses go unclaimed because there simply are not enough people with the right jobs to kill em all the time. I certainly can't solo it. And it only drops 50 orbs for me, its stupid inefficient from my point of view.

    Crafting Material Text

Then can we at least get a excel spreadsheet or something. Take like 5 minutes, add it to the wiki or homepage so I can just pop it up from the desktop? This might be surprising, but the wiki is not helpful and all I want is a shopping list.. Lost Relic of Time / Uses: 175 gear / Obtained from: Stay Connected Box. Boom Done.
  10. I would like the ability to manually lower my level. Specifically to 120, 135 and 150. Either through the Character stat menu, or with the use of a scroll. Currently the way everyone plays is to build characters to farm specific levels with. 120 Dungeons, 135 Dungeons, 150 Dungeons, and Penya. This is repetition that's not needed and hinders forward progress. I can't move my 150 dungeon runner upto 175, until I level another 150 and gear it so I can still run 150 dungeons. The way countless other games have resolved this character redundancy is to allow players to cap their levels at specific points. Enormously increasing character utility and versatility, play style, and overall freedom of events during their game time. Cap the stats, or the max dmg, or whatever you like to balance the difference between the levels, or don't. It can be an added perk of actually progressing towards endgame. And since most built farming characters are "1-shot" anyway, your not gaining that much. This means everyone can continue to move towards endgame, but not be punished for moving beyond a certain level. Currently, we have far too many 150's and far too few 175's. Partly due to this issue right here, it's very bothersome to move characters above a specific level range. No one should be punished for leveling..

    Penya farm Party skill

First off, adding a section for those builds would help new users out. Because, I want to know the exact minimum builds defined by the admin, your "supposed" to play. Is there more than 1? Does this require a "buff" pet? Cause that is not a free to play item. Second, I'm complaining. We just had a conversation in the discord about spending 6-8 hours grinding and farming, instead of spending time with ones family. Are you saying, saving time does the server and by extension the community no good? I'm not forcing people to make a party and use this skill, I want it as an option. However, you ARE defining what build I have to play to earn 60p/hr. Let me take a stab, AoE Arcanist? Third, define a "good spawn" because competition for islands is a thing. How many people can farm an island at 60p/hr? 2? 3? So like 15 people can farm penya at a time? How many users does krona have? and as it grows? Fourth, Why are the best farms before max level? So the official admin position is, stay 150, it has the best farming in the game?

  13. I would like to see added to the bottom of crafting materials flavor text. (PvP or PvE) respectively. So the moment it drops, we know what its used for. There's so many crafting materials....just seems practical.

    Penya farm Party skill

I think level 80 or 100 would suffice, but yeah, we only use 3 party skills, might as well make another useful one. Double the Penya drop amount or something. 75% of the game is spent farming penya. The other 25% farming crafting mats, which require penya to use, its a vicious cycle.

    Text color change from red

Agreed, I have the same issue. The red is, for all practical purposes, impossible to read. This is an example from another users picture. The soul-linked Red text and the red text from the gem of chaos is damn near impossible to read without adjusting filters, which then doesn't play well with everything else.
